Dr. Stephen Reinsel

Stephen Reinsel is a 2012 graduate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). While studying at PCO, Dr. Reinsel did internships in St. Mary's, Pennsylvania, Miami University's Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, one of the most prestigious eye hospitals in the world, and lastly in Seneca, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation from optometry school he returned to his hometown and worked in a private practice in Seneca, PA. He held the position of President for 7 years in the Northwest Optometric Association of Pennsylvania, and was secretary of the Oil City Rotary Club for the past 2 years.

Dr. Stephen Reinsel grew up in a small town of Oil City, just a little north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended Gannon University and achieved a B.S. in Health Sciences, before also getting a B.S. in Ocular Science from Salus University in Philadelphia.

He recently made the move to Calgary to be closer to his wife's family. He loves the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, watching sports games, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Reinsel manages glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinopathies (hypertensive & diabetic) and other retinal disease, the fitting of contact lenses, pediatrics, binocular vision, and pre/post-op cataract and refractive surgeries.
